This flower is crafted entirely in "forbidden stitch." This makes the frame an exceptional value. This is an example of a smaller frame which fits in the bed of the scanner. You can see the gold leaf corners and the lacquer finish on the rest of the frame. The matting is silk pongee. The whole thing was put together by a master frame maker.
